$50: Japanese Cellphone National 706i


White with blue shimmer.  Comes with charger and extra battery.
Can be used for gadgets like alarm or calculator even without being in Japan to use it for internet, phone and email. (Docomo)
Time and alerts display on the front surface by blue LEDs that glow through the plastic.  Very cool effect I wish they'd use on more phones these days!

$25: Multimedia player still has more functions than an ipod!


This is a brandless Asian-made device that can play music files, video files (needs to be converted with included converter file), take pictures, record video, record voice, document file reader, built in 8MB flash memory and an SD card port for more space.  It can be hooked directly to a TV with the VGA cable and display the screen for video or photo presentations.  It can be switched to speaker mode and play sound without using headphones.  Screen has low resolution but is in color.

case is for carrying over shoulder on adjustable strap.  Felt is worn.  Includes pocket for MP3 CD player, headphones, and has a built in cd storage zippered pocket.


Plays data cds of MP3s burned from a computer.  Also plays regular music cds.

Watch works fine.  The ring around the face was scratched and painted with nail polish.

The plastic/rubber band broke suddenly!

One hinge of the purse is broken, and the clip has a rusty metal spring.

Wristpurse is from 1988, and Clip is from 1977.
